Hi Tech Industries was set up in 1994 to apply fluoropolymer coatings to studbolts in the niche Petro-chemical/mining industries. Since then we have emerged as one of the most respected coating applicators, applying a wide range of technically advanced, thin film thermally cured coatings. We are approved applicators for Woodside Petroleum,(Aker Kvaerner) Phillips Conoco, Shell Australia Wesfarmers, CSBP, BHP Billiton, Solahart, FMC, Haliburton etc

Thin film coatings include trade names Xylan, Molykote, Everlube, 1pX'l,Teflon and Flurene Products. Medium-heavy build coatings including air dry are Halar, ceramkote 54, Dupont, PFA incl Ruby Red, plus various two pack epoxy's and glass flake systems. These products are based on resins,with either PTFE and or Graphite, Molybdenum Disulphide, pFA, PVDF, ECTFE, ETFE ).

This range of coatings enables us to service a broad range of industries including oil/gas subsea and splash zone, mining, automotive, chemical manufacture, commercial bake ware, valve pumps, engineering, medical and water treatment plant or wherever components require reliable coatings to provide ongoing solutions such as chemical resistance/lubrication, (Molybdenum Disulphide) high/low speed or pressure friction reduction/impact resistance and general corrosion.

Often for use in extremely harsh environments, coatings are applied in-house or in the field bv experienced personnel.

Mark Huxley joined Hi rech from the large international, EM coatings Group in 2004 He brought with him not only years of knowledge of the mainstream coating products and their new advances but also experience working alongside companies involved in everything from kitchen appliances, car manufacturers BMW, Rolls Royce and Ford to oil and gas, medical and aerospace components. Most importantly, he brings with him the ability to problem solve.

With modern premises located in the Kelmscott industrial area, Hi Tech has, over the years, completed projects requiring solutions to a diverse range of production problems with many of the small-medium and large industrial/mining and manufacturing companies including Coventry Fasteners, Tip Top Bakeries, George watson Foods, Hobson Engineering Millennium chemicals, Murrin Munin Nickel (including R&D), Kvaerner oilfield, Apache Energy, Wesfarmers CSBP (including its chemical and fertiliser plants) and Shell Australia (rebuild-of Victorian facility).

We continue to be the largest re-coater of private cookware in Australia.

Hi Tech offers in-house coating and in the case of air dry systems can offer on-site services. Our modern workshop has multiple spray and bake lines as well as air dry facilities. We also offer pre-treatment including abrasive blasting, bead blasting, chemical etching and the ability to zinclmanganese phosphate items weighing up to several tonnes.
